The industrial visit to HCL, Madurai, on 18th February 2025 was an insightful and enriching experience for our students. The visit was organized to provide students with practical exposure to corporate infrastructure, work culture, and industry expectations.

Highlights

Upon arrival, the students were welcomed by the HCL team and guided through the infrastructure and amenities provided to employees. The tour showcased the advanced technological setup, workspaces, employee recreational areas, and other facilities that contribute to a productive work environment.

Following the infrastructure tour, two members from the Human Resources (HR) division engaged with the students. They provided valuable insights into the recruitment process and career opportunities available at HCL. The session was interactive, allowing students to ask questions and clarify their doubts regarding corporate expectations and industry readiness.

The HR representatives delivered an informative session on the prerequisites for selecting fresh graduates. They emphasized essential skills such as:

• Problem-solving abilities

Their insights helped students understand the key areas to focus on for career growth and job readiness. The session was highly motivational, encouraging students to develop industry-relevant skills and prepare for future job opportunities.
